Icky to pretty in one coat

Ugly, wasn't it? It had been that way for years before I finally covered the actual mouse pad with fabric. Then it sat for years more, ugly with a splash of orange.

Yesterday I changed all that. Finally. I'd been meaning to do it for a long time, but you know how little projects for yourself go: you sometimes just never get to them.


A little spray paint (a Valspar candy pink) and some Starling fabric and I was all set. I like how the storage supplies and accessories in my office are slowly becoming pink, green, and aqua blue.

Hmm. I wonder if I can spray paint my tape dispensers...
