After a coat of primer and a coat of red matte spray paint. When it was fully dry I added these Kaisercraft Doilie Rub-ons. (I have a total crush on these!) They were a bit of work to get on, but they transferred over nicely. I gave it a coat of mod-podge and found it a home on my work table.

Wow! Very clever and looks new & vintage both! I just love how we sometimes bring out the beauty that is hiding beneath the wear & tear.
The color and art you added really 'makes it'. I like an 'find' that it the just right size to use in organizing my papers. I seem to be a magnet for papers. Know what I mean?
