i am really having fun with the foam stamps and outlining...too bad it took me a sharpie marker for every two canvases. luckily i had a box in my stash so it worked out, but the more frugal side of me keeps saying it's such a waste (!).
i excuse such thoughts by just really loving how they look, especially lined up like that.
i also did a smaller, recycled canvas in the same style. it had been sitting on my shelf for years - i'd gotten it on clearance for 49 cents at michael's thinking i'd do something with it. i covered it in a few coats of gesso, some white paint, then some kaiser craft beige (which turns out to be the exact same color as the jenni bowlin malted milk paint).
i'm still not sure what i'll be adding to the canvases - i have one larger one for my secret pal (the stamp store i frequent is having a secret pal thing for the rest of the year and i finally got my partner). the smaller ones are for my craft group's april swap. and who knows with the recycled one will be for mother's day.
since i'm not tired of this project yet, i think next up is a few greeting cards!
